Juan Guijarro Ferreiro
Software Engineer and IT Manager at Energética Coop
Introduction
I’m a Software Engineer driven by curiosity, with a diverse background in musicology, acoustics, and physics. For over six years, I’ve been developing tailored solutions for an engineering team, managing infrastructure, and optimizing workflows at a renewable energy cooperative. Working in a dynamic environment, I’ve gained extensive experience in back-end development, primarily using Python and JavaScript, along with Docker and CI/CD pipelines for deployments on Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
I’m someone who finds interest in almost everything and thrives on learning whatever comes my way. Recently, I’ve been diving into machine learning and deep learning, getting hands-on by implementing classic algorithms from scratch.
I’m now looking to apply my skills in a tech-driven environment where I can contribute to impactful projects—ideally with a strong open-source focus—while continuing to grow.
